About The Artist
William Gram is a member of the Palette and Chisel Gallery of Fine Art at 1012 N. Dearborn in Chicago. Bill studied painting at both the Palette and Chisel and the Art Institute of Chicago. Bill was most influenced by Scott Tallman Powers with whom he studied for 3 years at the Palette and Chisel. He also studied portraiture with Richard Halsted and Marci Oleskiewicz .
Many of the cityscapes are from his participation in the Plein Air Painters of Chicago, whose members paint Chicago area scenes every Saturday morning rain or shine. pleinairpaintersofchicago.blogspot.com
