The Bean Art Gallery   featuring original oil paintings by William Gram. (Updated November 08)    Most of Bill's paintings are  painted plein air  (onsite).  In Door County,  Bill is represented in season at The Potter's Wheel Gallery,   and  year around at Great Northern by Design at The Settlement Shop,  Fish Creek. The Millennium Park page focuses on paintings of the Bean, officially named Cloud Gate, and the Pritzker Pavilion a Frank Gehry creation. See the new Dance page featuring ballet paintings of scenes inspired by Chicago ballet companies and Russian companies such as the Bolshoi.

Over 30 new paintings have been added to the website in 2008.
The painting of Wrigley Field  on the cityscape page was done  during the Cubs playoff. It represents a new technique that Bill has dubbed guerrilla plein air. It involves getting right into the scene and painting,  instead of  painting from a distance.  The crowd around him seemed to enjoy  watching the  process.  One  photographer said  that  watching Bill paint was like watching Leroy Neiman work. See the photo of Bill painting on the  Cityscape page.
